Common questions

Before you apply.

Who exactly qualifies?

Anyone currently serving in Police, Ambulance / Paramedic, Fire & Rescue, as a Registered Nurse or Doctor / GP, or active in the Australian Defence Force (including reservists currently serving).
Can volunteers apply?

Yes. Volunteer firefighters (CFS, CFA, RFS) and SES volunteers with a current service ID can apply. We review case by case.
What if my ID is expired?

Try us anyway. Upload a photo of your most recent service ID and reply to the confirmation email with a recent payslip or letter from your employer. We will work it out.
How long does the discount last?

Forever, as long as you remain a member. We do not ask you to re-verify each year. Roughly two months of training a year, on the house.
What if I leave the service later?

Your discount continues. This is a thank-you for your service, not a contract.
What happens to my photo?

It is emailed to our gym inbox for manual review. A coach reads it, decides, and deletes the email after sending you either a code or a decline. We never store it on our servers. Full privacy note at the bottom of this page.
How long does approval take?

24 to 48 hours. A coach reviews each application by hand, not a bot.
Can I share my code with a friend?

No. Each approved applicant gets a single-use code tied to their email. Once it has been redeemed at /join, it cannot be used again.
What if I am declined?

The coach will reply with a quick note. If we cannot verify your role from the ID, we may ask for additional documentation before deciding.
